For those of you who know my style and my aesthetic, you will know that I am more than just open to grunge; I actually promote it when it is done right, which is usually organic and done over a long period time, like this piece. We got the 1980's, ,my childhood years; we got OXFORD UNIVERSITY, whattt; we got blue university logo on light heather grey; we got ancient Fruit of the Loom, and we got mad stains that just scream GRIMY STREETWEAR; what more could you ask for in a vintage, grunge piece, this is the ultimate! To be a girl and pull this top off, you would need to be more than just a hardcore, punk rock, super edgy, 2nd hand store kind of girl; you need to be mad mad confident and willing to take big risks when it comes to fashion. I know as a man, if this were in my size, I could easily pull this off, no problem, but this is an 80's XL and it's been washed so many times; let's just say it's more of a Medium to Large now. Sizes have gotten much bigger. Also, this needs to be a little oversized to work; it definitely CANNOT be too fitted. Oversized on the right girl with some funky shorts and like super sick but dusted shoes, like Balenciaga dusted and scuffed up, just totally worn in, OR it can always be loungewear.
